Poetry thrives in a shadowy, allusive world in which feelings that can be un-pinnable in precise language come into a reality all their own. It may seem to have little to do with the world of facts and experimentation that is science. If all that there is can be explained by what we see and/or what we can prove, what need is there for poetry?
POEM

Dance  is  Intangible

You dance and dance
Then the Dance dances You
Somewhat out and away
From your I. The Self
You used to know
Is spun out of your One
Towards the Many
Coalescing to a Group
Forging a new Identity, rising above
An individual I.
Self consciousness edges out
From the centre stage.
Dance enters the Soul
Floating above the Physical :
Sound, Steps, Movements and Gyrations
An Intangible makes the Tangible
Wake up and gets it to Live
