by Oranmore

Lord Oranmore is struck in wonderment at many of the perplexing questions about the world and mankind’s place in it that can be felt by those of a reflective disposition. These uncertainties and other concerns of this institute receive a rapt distillation into words in ‘Sparkling Fountain’.
POEM

To Ease The Pain

Then the heat of the sun
To warm and inspire,
Is that enough to go on the run,
Hide where not to be found?

In the hidden crevice,
Where darkness sounds
The owl on the tree top
Never heard, left to drown.

Man is part of the organic whole.
Wedded to nature’s eternal turmoil
His inner life, his heart, changes
The environment, then the rose grows.
