Letting go of the Other Into Aloneness

On the level of mind,
You are very much involved with the other.
You love the other or hate the other.
Or want something from the other,
Or resent or blame the other.
Or feel guilty toatds the other.
In any event you are deeply
Involved with the other.
Sometimes it’s pleasant and
Sometimes it’s a nightmare.
But one thing is for sure.
You are not alone.
In order to move from the level of mind
Towards the centre of your Being.4you have to leave the other behind.
You gradually surrender your expectations,
Resentment, blame and guilt
In relation to the other.
But as you let go of the other
And before you connect with the essential nature of your Being,
You are in a kind of limbo.
You are no longer connected with the other but you are not yet sufficiently
Connected with yourself,
So a sense of loneliness arises,
A sense of alienation.
And most of us are unwilling
to endure this loneliness.
We turn around and resume
Our connection with the other.
We return to thee love and the hate
And the blame and the guilt
And the resentment.
If only you were willing
To continue on your journey towards yourself.
Eventually you would reach close enough
To your centre for the feeling
Of loneliness to disappear,
replaced with a sense of aloneness,
which is incredibly full and enriching
When you are on the way to alone
But you are not yet there,
You will feel lonely.
If you keep going, you will reach to alone
And then loneliness disappears.
