I’d like to share you my view about what’s the purpose of life. I believe in God. There is a creator who created us. To know him, to love him and to serve him, that’s (what is important). At the end of the day, you ask yourself what did I do to love, what did I do to help people, how did I share myself? Today I’ve given a holy eucharist to my beloved Maria when I came from Mass. This is done once a month. After giving her that she’s got a shining face because she knows that she has eaten the body of Christ. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Now (digression not noted here) I’m talking about the purpose of life. (After this) life, at the end of it, we aim to go for everlasting life. (Apart from) the practicality of life in general of course we need meditation, we need contemplation, we need silence. And, of course we need to act and help each other. It’s not all (about) going to church. It’s what you do after going to church. It’s about how you help, care and love for one another. Really and truly from the womb – our mothers have carried us in the womb. There is a purpose for that; how our mother looked after us, how someone looked after you – you look back and they moulded you to become a good person. A flash-back of your life (shows you) that your mom and dad have given a good example for you. (digression). Some people haven’t been moulded properly but God has given us intelligence so that even if you are poor or a beggar, anybody can (use) their intellect. If they are homeless they can have a big heart to say ‘Thank You’. Plenty of poor people in the Philippines only eat once a day sometimes; they’re waiting for help to share, so we must have a good, good heart to love one another.
