Personal Credo - Dennis

Dennis' practical code of conduct is also his philosophy

The important thing in life is appreciation. Life is not easy. Life is hard in many ways. It might be trivial things, or material things, that are hard for you, but the feeling for me is that no matter how hard they are, no matter how many devastating or smaller or medium-size problems I need to deal with on a daily basis, the really most important thing is to appreciate life. Irrespective of the daily pressures, the daily ugencies, there are always things to appreciate.

Some days it is really small stuff. Sometime it is a flower – this is 20 seconds of reprieve between being embarrassed by outside forces, be they clients, parents, economic or other pressures. What really and truly changed the way that I looked my life was reflecting on the difference.

I’ve never really talked about this but the essence of appreciation is one of the ways in which I would answer your question.
